Most problems have a quick fix. Find yours below.
The one to watch for is the quiet one. If your AI loses the vault, it can still sound confident. It just answers from memory. That is why the rules tell it to speak up. See The rules to paste into your AI apps.
The answer sounds fine, but it is not your business.
Say: "Search the vault first."
If that fixes it, paste the rules into your AI's settings. If it does not, the connection has dropped. See the next one.
It says it has no vault, or asks you to sign in again.
Do not add a second connector with the same address. Claude refuses it. Open the one you have.
If you just made a new access key, this is why. Sign in again with the new one.
Something has been typed into the connector's Advanced settings. Claude saves that against your whole account, so deleting the connector does not fix it.
Open the connector in Claude and set the tools to Allow always. It still cannot send email or delete anything for good.
If this keeps happening, the connection may have dropped. See above.
Say: "Which mailboxes can you see?"
Microsoft 365 and iCloud bring their calendars with them. The Gmail route does not include a calendar, and Google Calendar is not ready yet.
Say: "That is wrong. The deposit is 30%. File that."
It updates the note, and every future answer uses the new fact.
Say: "Remember: never open with Hi team."
That saves a standing rule. Every AI on your vault reads the rules at the start of every chat.
There are two reasons:
credentials/ or the safe. Web access switches off for an hour, on purpose. Try again later, or open a new chat that has not read a login.Nothing is gone yet. Look in Notes, under Trash. Notes and files sit there for 90 days. Every note also keeps its old versions, so you can put an earlier one back.
Your AI will ask you to sign in again after a new key.
